Hydraulic Straightening Press

H-Frame Hydraulic Press for straightening long bars, currently configured for 185-ton press force

Description:

  • Structure: Press Master H-Frame 250-ton structure, Cassco purchased new from RK Machinery in 2007. I-beams were welded onto H-Frame structure to create a 35-foot long table for straightening bars up to 20-feet long. Two, heavy-duty reinforcement pads (six-foot long each) were welded in press areas on I-beams to support heavy load.

  • Power unit: Pump: Galtech 3300 psi, double pump configuration - allows fast piston movement with no load and slow piston movement when pressing. Motor: Baldor SuperE 10HP motor. Pump and motor purchased new in 2018 and installed in 2022

  • Hydraulic cylinder: VicRoc 12” diameter, purchased new in 2007 with H-Frame. Remanufactured in 2020 (cylinder honed, piston polished, all new seals, and tested). This cylinder develops 185-ton press force with the currently installed 3300 psi power unit. Can be used to develop 250-tons press force with 4400 psi power unit.

  • Hydraulic tank: 20-gallon with site glass, purchased new in 2007 with H-Frame

  • Control valve: Walvoil single block directional control valve, purchased new in 2018

  • Pressure Gage: Automation Direct Digital 0 to 5,000 psi, new 2025

  • Hydraulic hoses – Replaced with new in 2018

  • Precision Roller V-blocks: Heavy duty, qty 2. With OmniTrack 9445 high-capacity ball transfer units, qty 2 per v-block, 4 total, purchased new in 2018

  • Press V-blocks: Heavy Duty, qty 2

  • Spare control valve: Walvoil Single Block directional control valve, purchased new 2018, never used, qty 1

  • Spare Ball transfer units: OmniTrack 9445 high-capacity ball transfer units, purchased new in 2018, never used, qty 4.
